how often do you check in with yourself?

It can be common to regularly make sure our loved ones are covered. We call, FaceTime, send texts and often, even entertaining memes as a way to connect with others and keep up with how everyone's doing in our many inner circles. Combine this with all other aspects of everyday life and before we know it, the day has passed, we're exhausted, and haven't really taken the moments we need to evaluate what exactly we may be thinking or feeling.

Mindfulness Practice is all about creating space for ourselves, and being in the present moment. It's about going within to understand how we are reacting to the outer world. Most importantly, when we practice mindfulness, we lend compassion toward ourselves and refrain from judging our thoughts, as we quiet our mind. This process of becoming centered is quite intimate; as we spend time privately embracing the here and now. Self-love and care are direct results of exercising and strengthening self-awareness. That's when the fun begins!

It's actually work, but it can be a lot of fun. We become intentional in how we express and accept love.
